This American IPA presents a vibrant sensory journey defined by a classic West Coast profile. A punchy aromatic opening of dank pine and resinous spice from Columbus transitions into sophisticated notes of crushed gooseberry and white wine grapes attributed to Nelson Sauvin. Mosaic layers in complex waves of blueberry and ripe mango. The 7.7% ABV provides a structured backbone without sacrificing the style’s hallmark drinkability. It finishes bone-dry with a lingering, clean bitterness, supported by a subtle, grainy malt presence that allows the intricate interplay of Southern Hemisphere and Pacific Northwest hops to remain the focal point.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber with brilliant clarity. Pours with a thick, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma. Initial hits of resinous pine and damp earth lead into bright tropical fruit, specifically mango and passion fruit. Distinctive white wine and grape skin notes from the Nelson Sauvin are prominent. Malt is low and clean, reminiscent of crackery grain.

Taste. Initial hop-driven impact of citrus zest and stone fruit, followed by a mid-palette of blueberry and resin. The bitterness is firm and assertive but clean. Low grainy malt sweetness provides minimal support before a crisp, very dry finish. Aftertaste is long and hoppy with pine and grape notes.
