This celebratory American Lager, crafted for the Zürich Bier Festival, presents a vibrant, modern interpretation of the classic profile. The clean, neutral grain base provides a crisp canvas for a sophisticated hop trio. Rakau and Nectaron contribute lush layers of sun-ripened peach and tropical passionfruit, while Amarillo adds a bright, citrusy edge of grapefruit and orange zest. Despite its hop-forward nature, the finish remains exceptionally dry and refreshing, true to its lager roots. It balances high drinkability with a complex aromatic bouquet, making it a sophisticated but approachable sessionable choice with a clean, professional execution.

Appearance. Pale straw to medium yellow (SRM 3). Topped with a white, frothy head showing moderate retention and light lacing. Brilliant clarity.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of stone fruit, peach, and tropical citrus. Subtle, sweet grainy malt background. Very clean fermentation profile without significant esters or sulfur.

Taste. Initial impression is crisp and refreshing. Low grainy malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by vibrant hop flavors of apricot, passionfruit, and lime peel. Bitterness is medium-low but firm enough to provide balance against the grain. The finish is very dry, clean, and highly attenuated with a short, citrusy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that provides a prickly carbonic bite. Smooth and clean without astringency. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
