This American Lager offers a modern, aromatic twist on a classic crisp profile. The clean, neutral malt base provides a lean canvas for the vibrant dry-hop additions of Mosaic and Rakau. While maintaining a refreshing, highly attenuated character, the nose is elevated by distinctive notes of blueberry and tropical fruit from the Mosaic, paired with the soft apricot and orchard fruit qualities of Rakau. It finishes exceptionally clean and dry with a subtle grainy sweetness, delivering a thirst-quenching experience that bridges the gap between traditional light-bodied lagers and contemporary hop-forward styles.
Appearance. Very pale straw (2-3 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a bright white, frothy head with moderate persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a clean fermentation profile. Very low grainy-sweet malt aroma is overshadowed by modern hop notes of tropical fruit, blueberry, and stone fruit like apricot. No DMS or diacetyl present.
Taste. Initial impression is crisp and refreshing with a low grainy malt flavor. Hop flavor is more prominent than traditional examples, showcasing berry and stone fruit qualities. Bitterness is low to medium-low, providing an even balance that leads into a very dry, clean finish with a short aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that delivers a slight carbonic bite. Smooth mouthfeel with no astringency and a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
