This Helles Bock, a collaboration between FIRST Craft Beer and Nova Runda, presents a vibrant sensory celebration of spring. It opens with a commanding grainy-sweet malt presence, layering notes of fresh dough and light toast derived from a traditional blend of German malts. The aroma is clean and refined, featuring subtle floral and spicy hop accents that complement the rich malt core. On the palate, the beer balances its significant malty depth with a moderate bitterness and a well-attenuated, moderately dry finish. Smooth and substantial, it delivers a gentle alcohol warmth that enhances its festive, medium-full character.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (6-9 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a large, creamy, persistent white head and excellent lacing.

Taste. Moderately strong grainy-sweet, doughy, and bready malt flavor dominates with light toasty notes. Low spicy hop flavor is present, balanced by a moderate hop bitterness. Well-attenuated and not cloying, ending in a moderately dry finish where both malt and hops linger briefly.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, creamy texture. Moderate to moderately high carbonation with no harshness or astringency and a subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
