This Czech Premium Pale Lager offers a classic sensory experience, defined by its traditional cool fermentation and extended sub-zero maturation. The nose is greeted by a high intensity of spicy and floral notes derived from authentic Czech Saaz hops, layered over a foundation of rich, bready malt. On the palate, the interplay between complex malt sweetness and a prominent, rounded bitterness creates a harmonious balance. It finishes crisp and clean, yet leaves a subtle, spicy trail. Despite being gluten-free, the beer maintains the characteristic medium body and soft mouthfeel typical of a traditional Bohemian-style pilsner, delivering a sophisticated and refreshing profile.
Appearance. Deep gold color (approximately 5 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. A pronounced floral and spicy hop bouquet from the Saaz hops is front and center. This is supported by a rich, bready-rich malt character. Very clean fermentation profile with no detectable esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression of soft, complex maltiness with flavors of fresh bread and a hint of toasted grain. This is balanced by a firm but smooth bitterness (~35 IBU) that lacks any harshness. Notable spicy and herbal hop flavors persist through the mid-palate. The finish is clean and crisp with a lingering, pleasant bitterness and floral hop notes.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, rounded texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle scrub without being prickly. No alcohol warmth at 4.8% ABV; extremely smooth with no astringency.
