A note from the producers at The Newt: Around the time that Hadspen House was built, the finest quality cyders were preferred to champagne by sniffy Somerset gentry who knew their tipple. Our cyders are made with 100% apple juice, using a state-of-the-art Cyder Press and Cyder Cellar, and advanced cold-press processes.

The Greeks and Romans mastered the art of cyder making, but so did we (when the pompous Julius Caesar invaded our shores around 55 BC, he found the drink already established here).
