This monumental Quintuple IPA pushes the boundaries of the Double IPA style, delivering an intense sensory experience driven by a massive hop bill of Superdelic, Nelson Sauvin, and Citra. The profile is defined by a saturated essence of pithy orange and zesty grapefruit, complemented by the sophisticated, vinous character of white wine grape from the Nelson Sauvin and Nelson Sauvin Hyperboost. Despite its staggering 13.5% ABV, the beer maintains a surprisingly focused balance, avoiding the heavy sweetness of a barleywine. It offers a concentrated burst of New World hop oils supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows complex tropical and citrus notes to dominate through the finish.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8-12 SRM). Features a thick, creamy, off-white head with exceptional persistence and dense lacing. Modern hazy appearance with significant opacity due to the extreme hop saturation.

Aroma. Intense, explosive hop aroma with dominant notes of white wine grapes, gooseberry, and vibrant grapefruit. High citrus intensity featuring pithy orange and tropical fruit esters. Malt is neutral and supportive, while the high alcohol provides a noticeable but smooth sweetness without solvent notes.

Taste. Powerful initial impression of citrus nectar and grape skins. Complex layers of orange and ruby red grapefruit from the Citra and Superdelic hops are balanced by the refined white wine character of Nelson Sauvin. Bitterness is high but lacks harshness, providing structure against the elevated ABV. The finish is remarkably dry for its strength, ending with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous with a smooth, velvety texture. Moderate carbonation. Significant alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. Low astringency with a rich, tongue-coating hop oiliness.
