This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant sensory profile defined by an intensive dry-hop of Peacharine and Paradisi hops. The Peacharine hops deliver lush notes of ripe stone fruit and nectarine, while the Paradisi hops contribute a bright, citrus-forward edge reminiscent of pink grapefruit and passionfruit. Its foundation is built on a clean, bready malt presence that supports the tropical intensity without overshadowing it. Soft on the palate with a characteristic opaque glow, this beer balances hop-derived sweetness with a restrained bitterness. It finishes smooth and refreshing, making the 6.5% ABV remarkably integrated and easy-drinking for the style.
Appearance. Hazy and nearly opaque straw-gold (4-5 SRM) with a luminous shine. Topped by a dense, rocky white head with excellent retention and thick, meringue-like lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity aroma of fresh peach, nectarine, and tropical passionfruit. Underneath the hop dominance lies a light, grainy, and bready malt character with clean fermentation esters and a subtle hint of grapefruit zest.
Taste. An immediate wave of juicy stone fruit and citrus oil flavors. The bitterness is moderate and smooth, never harsh, balancing an off-dry finish. Low bready malt flavor supports the massive hop expression of Peacharine and Paradisi through to a lingering, fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle lift. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, with no astringency or harshness.
