The palate is dominated by a firm, assertive bitterness that is balanced by a lean, crackery malt backbone, purposely avoiding heavy caramel notes to maintain a crisp character. At 6.5% ABV, the beer remains highly drinkable, finishing bone-dry with a lingering resinous aftertaste.
