Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by fresh, succulent mango and tropical fruit. Complementary notes of grapefruit, melon, and light resin from American hops are present. A background of clean, starchy, and slightly sweet grainy malt provides a subtle rice-like foundation. Fermentation is clean with very low esters.
Taste. Bold mango and tropical fruit flavors lead, followed by citrus peel and pine. A medium-high bitterness provides the classic hop-forward structure, yet is softened by a unique, grainy, slightly sweet malt character reminiscent of glutinous rice.
