Appearance. Deep gold to amber with brilliant clarity. Still to very lightly effervescent with no head formation and no lacing, typical of high-ABV, long-aged cider.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant fresh and baked apple notes intertwined with stone fruit esters like apricot. Notable oak influence provides vanilla and toasted wood, while eighteen months of aging introduces subtle caramel and honeyed oxidation notes.
Taste. Bold apple flavor upfront, transitioning into complex stone fruit and golden raisin. The oak aging contributes a buttery character and distinct caramel undertones. Low to moderate acidity is countered by firm, raspy wood tannins. Finishes dry and lingering with a vinous, warming quality.
