This robust Wee Heavy showcases a deep malty complexity anchored by Maris Otter and specialty melanoidin grains. It presents a distinctive peated character, embracing a smoky, earthy profile alongside traditional rich maltiness. Aromas of toasted bread crust and dense caramel mingle with dark fruit esters of plum and raisin. On the palate, the sweetness of caramelized sugar is balanced by a subtle, integrated smokiness and moderate bitterness from classic hop varieties. Despite its strength, the alcohol warmth is elegantly masked within a full-bodied, chewy texture, finishing with lingering notes of toffee and a persistent whisper of peat smoke.

Appearance. Deep copper to dark brown with ruby highlights; clear liquid topped with a large, creamy tan head that shows moderate persistence.

Aroma. High intensity malt aroma featuring toasted bread, caramel, and toffee; notable earthy peat smoke; moderate dark fruit esters resembling plum and raisins; very low earthy hop notes.
