This massive 12.5% ale flows with a luxurious viscosity, releasing intense aromas of dark chocolate and deep caramel. The sensory experience is anchored by a distinct buttery biscuit malt profile, evoking the classic shortbread base. Bourbon barrel aging adds sophisticated dimensions of toasted oak and vanilla, melding seamlessly with the roasty grain. On the palate, the sweetness of the caramel is balanced by the spirituous warmth of the bourbon, leading to a lingering, velvety finish that highlights the complex interplay of chocolate and oak.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. Pours with a dense, dark tan head that shows moderate retention, leaving thick lacing on the glass. High viscosity is apparent through prominent legs as the liquid swirls.
