Fierce Beer

Borealis is a luminous Hazy IPA that captures the vibrant essence of Citra hops through a sophisticated multi-stage hopping process including dip hopping. Pouring with a dense, glowing opacity, it offers an immediate, high-intensity aromatic burst of zesty lime, sweet mango, and pink grapefruit. The clean but saturated hop presence avoids vegetal harshness, allowing the fruit character to lead. On the palate, a soft, pillowy texture carries flavors of tropical stone fruit and bright citrus, supported by a subtle, bready malt base. It finishes with a gentle, restrained bitterness and an off-dry, juicy character that emphasizes drinkability at its moderate strength.

Appearance. Color is a glowing straw to light orange with an opaque, hazy shine. Features a medium, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma characterized by dominant Citra notes of grapefruit, lime, and tropical mango. A light, bready, and grainy malt character sits in the background, complemented by neutral to slightly fruity fermentation esters.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor with layers of citrus and stone fruit. Malt flavor is low to medium and lightly bready. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate and notably soft, leading into an off-dry finish with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste free of any harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and smooth body. Carbonation is moderate. The beer possesses a pillowy texture without being viscous or heavy, accompanied by a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
