The Warrior is an intensely aromatic Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated blend of Southern Hemisphere hops. The sensory experience is dominated by Nelson Sauvin, which contributes distinctive notes of crushed white grape and gooseberry. Nectaron adds layers of lush stone fruit, specifically peach and nectarine, while Motueka provides a bright, citrusy counterpoint of fresh lime zest. A clean, neutral malt profile supports these bold hop characters without adding heavy sweetness. The finish is remarkably dry and crisp for its strength, featuring a firm bitterness that balances the tropical fruit intensity and ensures high drinkability despite the elevated alcohol content.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange with a moderate to heavy haze. It features a large, persistent, off-white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent white wine, passion fruit, and peach. Distinctive lime and tropical citrus notes are present, backed by a very low, clean, grainy malt scent and a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression of intense tropical and stone fruit. Strong hop flavors of lime, gooseberry, and pineapple lead into a moderately high bitterness that lacks harshness. Malt is supportive and soft, providing a light bready character. The finish is dry with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, consistent with its strength, without any hop-derived astringency.
