The nose is dominated by saturated notes of passion fruit and ripe pineapple, while Eclipse introduces a bright mandarin citrus peel character. Despite its 10% ABV, the palate remains remarkably drinkable, balancing high hop bitterness with a soft, supportive malt backdrop. The interplay of tropical stone fruit and a whisper of fresh pine from the Vic Secret leads into a lingering, resinous finish. It showcases a modern, powerful hop profile while maintaining the structural dryness and smooth alcohol warmth expected of the style.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light orange-copper with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves consistent lacing. It shows a slight, modern haze while retaining a vibrant glow within the 6–14 SRM range.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics lead with pungent tropical fruit esters, specifically passion fruit and pineapple. Distinctive citrus notes of mandarin and grapefruit are supported by a clean, grainy malt sweetness and a light resinous pine. No solventy alcohol is present despite the strength.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and citrus oil followed by a moderately high bitterness that remains smooth and non-harsh. Malt character is clean and unobtrusive, providing a soft foundation for the intense hop flavors. The finish is medium-dry with a clean, lingering hoppy aftertaste and a light, smooth alcohol flavor.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture and no harsh hop-derived astringency. Carbonation is moderate-high, enhancing the hop delivery. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth reflects its high strength.
