Jasper Riwaka with Pineapple is a vibrant Double IPA that showcases the pungent, tropical synergy of New Zealand Riwaka and American Citra hops. The sensory experience is defined by an explosive bouquet of fresh pineapple, passionfruit, and bright grapefruit. Riwaka provides its signature diesel and tropical punch, while Citra lends a clean citrus backbone. The addition of real pineapple enhances the juicy character, creating a lush, fruit-forward profile. Supported by a soft, neutral malt base, the beer maintains a firm but smooth bitterness and a remarkably clean finish, balancing its 7.8% ABV with exceptional aromatic intensity.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange with a persistent, dense white head and significant haze. Excellent head retention and moderate lacing as the head recedes.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics dominated by fresh pineapple, passionfruit, and crushed lime. The Riwaka provides a unique pungent, slightly dank, and tropical profile, while Citra adds notes of grapefruit and orange peel. Very low, neutral grainy malt in the background with a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. The initial impression is a burst of tropical sweetness from the pineapple, followed by complex hop flavors of mango, passionfruit, and resinous citrus. Bitterness is moderately high but smooth, avoiding harshness. Malt flavor is low and neutral, providing just enough support for the hop-forward balance.
