This powerhouse Double IPA showcases a vibrant collaboration through an intense saturation of Nelson, Motueka, and Rakau hops. The sensory profile is dominated by a profound tropical bouquet, where the Nelson and Full Moon Harvest Nelson deliver signature notes of crushed gooseberry and white wine grapes. Motueka provides a bright lime zest lift, while Rakau adds layers of ripe apricot and stone fruit. Despite the 10% ABV, the beer maintains a soft, pillowy texture characteristic of modern hazy styles, supported by a neutral, grainy malt backbone. It finishes with a delicate, smooth warmth and a clean, lingering fruit-forward bitterness.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange with a prominent, opaque haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent white head with dense lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by passionfruit, lime zest, and white grape. Secondary notes of peach and apricot are supported by a clean, neutral, crackery malt character with no significant fermentation esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit including guava and lychee, followed by gooseberry and white wine flavors from the Nelson hops. Motueka contributes lime peel and citrus. Bitterness is moderate to firm but exceptionally smooth, balancing a soft malt sweetness. The finish is medium-dry and clean with a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture and moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being hot or solventy.
