This Double IPA from Fidens Brewing Co presents an explosive sensory experience driven by a massive double dry hopping of Citra, Citra DynaBoost, Mosaic, Nelson, and Galaxy. On the nose, it bursts with saturated tropical notes of passion fruit and mango, layered over Sauvignon Blanc-like crushed grapes and bright lime zest. The palate follows with a complex blend of lychee, stone fruit, and a hint of resinous pine, supported by a lean, doughy malt base. While the hop intensity is high, the finish remains remarkably clean and smooth, showcasing the vibrant profile of these world-class hops in a potent, well-integrated format.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange with a significant, uniform haze. Topped with a large, creamy, off-white head that demonstrates excellent retention and leaves thick, webbed lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, passion fruit, mango, and crushed white grapes. Significant citrus notes of lime and grapefruit are present, backed by a very low, clean, crackery malt character and neutral fermentation esters.

Taste. Dominant hop flavors of peach, apricot, and gooseberry lead into a bright citrus middle. The malt provides a soft, bready foundation with minimal sweetness. Bitterness is moderately high but extremely smooth, avoiding any vegetal or harsh qualities. The finish is dry with a lingering tropical and resinous hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, plush, and creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a gentle prickle. A smooth, restrained alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no hop-derived astringency.
