This Milkshake Double IPA presents an opulent sensory profile, blending the citrus-forward intensity of Citra and Citra Cryo with the tropical, berry-like complexity of Strata and Strata Liquid Lupulin. The addition of fresh oranges and vanilla creates a nostalgic creamsicle character that integrates seamlessly with the hops' natural grapefruit and passion fruit notes. Though categorized as a Double IPA, the addition of adjuncts yields a plush, dessert-leaning profile while maintaining a necessary hop bitterness for balance. The result is a vibrant, hazy experience that showcases bold hop saturation against a silky, full-bodied canvas.

Appearance. Deep gold to hazy orange (8-10 SRM). Opaque clarity with a thick, creamy, persistent white head and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant fresh orange and tangerine notes from both hops and adjuncts. Citra provides zesty lime, while Strata adds passion fruit and a hint of dank herbal resin. Soft vanilla sweetness provides a supportive, marshmallow-like background over a neutral, grainy malt base.

Taste. Initial impression of sweet citrus and cream. Flavors of ripe orange and vanilla are prominent, followed by a surge of tropical hop fruitiness. Moderately high bitterness provides a necessary counterpoint to the residual adjunct sweetness. The finish is long and fruity with a smooth, lingering citrus peel aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and exceptionally creamy with a velvety texture; moderate carbonation. A soft, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, contributing to the rich mouthfeel without any harsh astringency.
