This New Zealand Pilsner opens with an aromatic burst of crushed white grape, gooseberry, and pineapple over a delicate, bready malt foundation. On the palate, a clean, grainy-sweetness provides the canvas for bright lime and passionfruit notes, balanced by a firm yet smooth bitterness. The finish is remarkably crisp and refreshing, showcasing the southern hemisphere hop profile without any harshness. It is a refined, hop-forward lager that captures a bright, sun-drenched coastal character.
Appearance. Yellow-gold (3-4 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a thick, creamy white head that exhibits excellent retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring distinct notes of white grape, crushed gooseberry, and tropical pineapple. Supporting malt is medium-low with a clean, crackery, and bready character. Fermentation is neutral and clean.
