This Double IPA is a bold, hop-saturated experience driven by a massive layering of Galaxy and Citra. The aroma explodes with intense waves of passionfruit, peach, and sharp grapefruit, underpinned by the concentrated tropical notes of Citra cryo. On the palate, the hop-forward profile delivers layers of pineapple and melon against a lean, neutral malt backdrop. A firm, assertive bitterness balances the 8% ABV strength, while the finish remains crisp and dry. This clean fermentation allows the interplay between the Galaxy’s stone fruit character and Citra’s citrus brightness to dominate the senses without the weight of heavy caramel malts.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange with a slight hop-induced haze. Features a tall, creamy, off-white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing.

Aroma. Prominent to intense hop aroma featuring pungent passionfruit, peach, and lime zest. A faint, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence sits in the background, complemented by a hint of smooth alcohol warmth and very low fermentation esters.

Taste. Initial punch of tropical fruit, specifically pineapple and passionfruit, followed by a mid-palate of resinous pine and grapefruit pith. Hop bitterness is high and firm but lacks harshness. The malt is soft and supportive, providing a neutral cracker-like foundation. Finishes dry with a long, lingering citrus-peel aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle. A noticeable but well-restrained alcohol warmth glows on the swallow. No astringency.
