This Wild Specialty Beer is a vibrant sensory-focused explosion of fruit and adjuncts. Dominated by an intense blueberry profile, the aroma is layered with creamy vanilla and the tropical richness of coconut. The wild fermentation provides a foundational funk and sharp lactic acidity that cuts through the higher 8% alcohol presence. On the palate, the tartness of the berries is balanced by the smoothing effects of vanilla, while the coconut provides a lingering, velvet-like depth. It strikes a complex balance between a puckering sour and a decadent dessert-influenced ale, showcasing a bold, modern approach to wild fermentation.

Appearance. Deep, opaque violet-purple with a persistent, jewel-toned pinkish-purple head. Moderate lacing; significant haze from fruit solids and adjuncts.

Aroma. High intensity. Leading with jammy, sun-ripened blueberry and a distinct, sweet vanilla bean character. Toasted coconut adds a tropical, nutty layer. Secondary notes of earthy wild yeast funk and a clean, sharp lactic tartness.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, tart burst of fresh blueberry skins. This quickly transitions into a mid-palate of creamy vanilla and rich coconut flavors. Low hop bitterness; the balance is driven by high acidity against a subtle, lingering malt sweetness. The finish is long and fruity, with a complex interplay of funky yeast and berry tannins.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body, significantly more substantial than a standard wild ale due to the 8% ABV and adjunct additions. Moderate carbonation with a noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth. Very slight tannin-driven astringency from the fruit.
