This Double IPA celebrates the 2025 harvest of Citra hops, utilizing both T90 pellets and Cryo technology to deliver an intensely saturated hop profile. The aroma explodes with vibrant notes of pink grapefruit, lychee, and fresh lime zest, supported by a clean, neutral malt base that stays out of the way. On the palate, the Citra-driven flavors transition into deep mango and resinous pine. Despite the 8% ABV, the beer remains remarkably drinkable with a firm yet smooth bitterness and a dry, lingering finish. It exemplifies the modern approach to the style, focusing on hop saturation without the heavy sweetness or syrupy body of a barleywine.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM). Pours with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves significant lacing. Exhibits a slight, modern hop haze consistent with heavy dry-hopping.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma dominated by the Citra variety; expect pungent layers of citrus peel, tropical passionfruit, and a hint of dank resin. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light crackery background. Fermentation is clean with a very subtle stone fruit ester.

Taste. Initial hop-forward punch of tangerine and melon. Malt flavor is low, serving only to support the hop intensity with a soft, grainy character. Bitterness is high but exceptionally smooth, lacking any vegetal or phenolic harshness. The finish is medium-dry and crisp, with a long, resinous, and citrusy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture from high hop oil content. Carbonation is medium-high. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but remains restrained and smooth.
