This elegant Saison presents a sophisticated sensory journey shaped by 390 days of maturation in French oak Chardonnay barrels. Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold to soft orange with a long-lasting, dense, rocky ivory head that leaves persistent Belgian lacing. Highly effervescent.
Aroma. High intensity featuring a complex bouquet of red rose petals and floral esters, complemented by pome fruit and citrus. Subtle vinous notes of Chardonnay and soft French oak provide a woodsy backdrop to the spicy, black pepper yeast character and light, grainy malt.
Taste. Initial impression is very dry and refreshing. A balance of spicy yeast and floral rose notes leads into flavors of pear and apple. The palate features a soft, grainy malt character punctuated by moderate hop bitterness and a hint of white wine acidity. The finish is remarkably dry with a lingering spicy and floral aftertaste.
