This Wheatwine presents a luxurious sensory experience, defined by a deep orange hue and a luscious, full-bodied presence. The aroma is led by a rich, bready wheat character, accented by notes of honey and a subtle, clean alcohol warmth. On the palate, a complex interplay of candied fruits and spicy phenolic compounds emerges, reminiscent of Belgian heritage while maintaining the grainy, bready core of the style. The mouthfeel is remarkably silky and velvety, carrying flavors of toasted malt and caramel through to a semi-sweet, warming finish. Despite its high strength, the balance remains focused on the decadent malt complexity and expressive, jammy fruit esters.
Appearance. Deep orange to amber in color (approximately 10–12 SRM); features a moderate off-white head with a creamy texture and good retention. Clear with visible legs on the glass indicating high viscosity and alcohol content.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity with dominant bready and grainy wheat malt. Secondary notes of honey and light caramel are present. Pronounced fruity esters suggesting candied orange and dried stone fruits are accompanied by a subtle spicy phenolic note and clean, warming alcohol.
