While staying true to the Doppelbock foundation, it surprises with a leaner, drier body that enhances drinkability. Appearance. Deep copper to mahogany (18–22 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a thick, persistent, creamy off-white head that leaves moderate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity maltiness featuring toasted bread crusts and light caramel. A prominent but refined smoke character suggests beechwood and fruitwood. Secondary notes of dark fruit, specifically prunes and a hint of dehydrated pear, integrate with a low floral alcohol presence. Clean fermentation with no hop aroma.
