American IPA 7 º
Highside is a vibrant American IPA that epitomizes the modern West Coast profile through a collaboration utilizing advanced hop extracts. The sensory experience is led by intense, dank pine and resinous notes from Mosaic DynaBoost and HyperBoost. Layers of fresh orange from Citra and succulent nectarine from Nectaron Cryo emerge on the palate, supported by a clean, lean malt backbone. It presents with a brilliant clarity and a firm, refreshing bitterness that drives a crisp, dry finish. This clean-fermenting ale balances high-impact fruitiness with a classic resinous grip, making for a dangerously drinkable yet complex lupulin-driven experience.
Appearance. Medium gold (6-8 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, white, persistent head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent dank pine, resin, and fresh citrus zest. Significant stone fruit notes of nectarine and tropical mango are present. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation is clean with no esters.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of fresh orange and stone fruit. Mid-palate reveals dank, resinous pine and citrus peel. Medium-high to high hop bitterness is firm but clean. Malt flavor is low and bready, providing a supportive base. Finish is dry and crisp with a lingering, bitter, hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Medium-high carbonation. Displays a very light, integrated alcohol warmth without any harshness or astringency.
