Falkon Rauš presents a masterfully balanced Rauchbier experience where the distinctive aroma of Bavarian smoked malt takes center stage. The scent of beechwood fires and savory woodsmoke blends seamlessly with a deep, toasty malt backbone driven by Caramunich III. On the palate, the Bohemia hops provide a gentle spicy counterpoint to the rich, bread-crust sweetness. Fermented with a traditional Czech lager yeast, the profile remains transitionally clean and smooth. This amber-hued lager finishes with a lingering, pleasant smokiness that feels integrated rather than aggressive, echoing the classic character of a well-crafted Bamberg-style smoke beer.

Appearance. Deep copper to reddish-brown in color (18 SRM). The beer is brilliant and clear, topped with a large, creamy, tan-colored head that exhibits excellent persistence and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of clean beechwood smoke with woody and slightly savory, bacon-like qualities. Behind the smoke lies a moderate toasty malt richness with notes of bread crust and light caramel. Low spicy hop aroma and a clean, sulfur-free fermentation profile.

Taste. A harmonious blend of malt and smoke. Initial toasty richness from the Caramunich III leads into a robust, savory smoke flavor that remains clean and woody. Moderate hop bitterness provides balance, complemented by low spicy and herbal hop flavors. The finish is medium-dry, with smoke and toasted grain flavors lingering pleasantly without becoming acrid or harsh.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate to medium-high, providing a crispness that cuts through the malt. Very light alcohol warmth is present, with no perceived astringency or phenolic harshness.
