Falkon Botanik is a revitalizing Gose that expands the style's traditional boundaries with an garden-fresh botanical profile. This sour ale pours with a hazy yellow glow, immediately releasing a vibrant bouquet of fresh mint and aromatic rosemary. The sensory experience is deepened by the resinous, woodsy snap of juniper berries, which complements the base beer’s clean lactic tartness. Appearance. Yellow (3-4 SRM) with a moderate to tall, tight-bubbled white head showing good retention; appearance is characteristically hazy and unfiltered with noticeable effervescence.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity defined by herbal complexity; prominent notes of cool fresh mint and piney rosemary mingle with the resinous, peppery scent of juniper berries. A clean lactic sourness and a light, bready wheat malt backbone provide the foundation, with no hop aroma or esters present.
Taste. Initial impression is a bright, medium-low lactic sourness followed by doughy, bready wheat malt.
