Falkon Afterparty is a vibrant Hazy IPA that leads with a punchy, tropical bouquet. Utilizing a potent blend of El Dorado, Sabro, and Citra hops, the sensory profile is dominated by layers of ripe pineapple, creamy coconut, and bright citrus zest. The inclusion of oats and dextrin in the grist creates a soft, pillowy texture that carries these lush flavors across the palate with ease. Fermented with Pomona yeast, the beer exhibits enhanced stone fruit esters that perfectly complement the hop-derived notes. Despite the lower alcohol content, it maintains a full-flavored presence with a smooth, restrained bitterness and a juicy, clean finish.
Appearance. Deep straw to light gold with a distinct, opaque haze and a beautiful matte shine. Supports a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and heavy lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pineapple, tangerine, and a unique creamy coconut note. Low bready malt character serves as a backdrop to prominent stone fruit and tropical esters. Clean fermentation profile with no harsh alcohol or sulfur.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the tropical aroma with added notes of grapefruit and pear. Low, grainy malt sweetness is balanced by a restrained, low-to-medium bitterness that lacks any harshness. The finish is soft and off-dry, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruit juice.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, smooth texture provided by the flaked grains. Carbonation is moderate and fine. No perceived alcohol warmth or astringency, contributing to high drinkability.
