Baker starts with a pale, simple grist with grains from our friends at Skagit Valley Malting.  After primary fermentation and blending in a portion of oak-aged farmhouse ale, the beer is then dosed with whole limes and ginger root. In addition to the juice from these ingredients, we used the roots of the ginger as well as the citrus peels, and even a handful of lime leaves for added depth. The result is punchy and tart, with a refreshing hit of spiciness in the finish – a low alcohol, mixed culture interpretation of the familiar notes in a well-made Moscow Mule.
