This Hazy Double IPA presents an intense, multilayered tropical and vinous bouquet driven by a unique trio of hops. Luminosa contributes vibrant layers of peach, orange peel, and exotic guava, while Rakau adds depth with bright stone fruit and a subtle, fresh grassiness. The inclusion of Nelson Sauvin provides a sophisticated counterpoint of white wine, gooseberry, and a distinct touch of white pepper. Despite its 8% ABV, the beer remains approachable, focusing on hop saturation rather than heat. The profile is defined by its lush, juice-forward intensity, balancing modern tropical notes with a crisp, aromatic complexity and soft, pillowy texture.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold to light orange (6-7 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent creamy white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of guava, papaya, and peach. Secondary layers of orange peel and white wine are complemented by a hint of white pepper and fresh-cut grass. Malt is neutral and grainy in the background, with a lightly fruity fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical stone fruit and citrus. Malt flavor is low and soft, providing a bready, unobtrusive base for the complex hops. Strong flavors of gooseberry and white wine emerge mid-palate. Bitterness is moderate but smooth, lacking any harshness or resinous burn. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering tropical and spicy hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Displays a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth consistent with its strength, and is entirely free of hop-derived astringency.
