Imperial IPA 8 º
Strangers No More is a lush, saturated Hazy Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop blend through a contemporary, juice-forward lens. The sensory profile is dominated by the intense stone fruit and pineapple bursts of Nectaron, layered with the bright lime zest of Motueka and the classic citrus punch of Citra. Nelson Sauvin provides an elegant finish of white wine grapes and crushed gooseberries. Despite its 8% ABV, the beer maintains a pillowy softness and high drinkability, balancing its bold tropical fruit esters against a lean, supportive grain bill that allows the New World hop character to remain the undisputed protagonist.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4-6 SRM); opaque with a thick, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves dense webs of lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of ripe peach, passion fruit, crushed lime, and distinct white grape. Low bready malt in the background with a moderate tropical fruit ester profile and no detectable solventy alcohol.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit, specifically pineapple and nectarine, followed by a mid-palate of lime and grapefruit. Low to moderate bitterness (approx. 40-50 IBU) provides just enough structure to balance the soft, bready malt sweetness. The hop flavor is complex and multilayered, finishing with a lingering note of sauvignon blanc grapes and a clean, soft aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, pillowy texture; moderate carbonation and a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth that never becomes harsh or astringent.
