This West Coast-style American IPA highlights the unique profile of Anchovy hops against a lean, crackery malt backdrop. Brilliantly clear and gold-hued, it opens with a striking aroma of sweet watermelon candy, complemented by resinous pine and a hint of herbal complexity. The palate is defined by a firm, clean bitterness that accentuates the singular hop character, delivering flavors of dried berries and fresh evergreen. Appearance. Color is medium gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, off-white head that demonstrates excellent persistence and leaves decorative lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring distinct notes of watermelon, pine resin, and a touch of herbal spice from the Anchovy hops. Low, clean, bready malt provides a supporting role. Clean fermentation profile with no significant esters.
