POWERSUIT is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated Southern Hemisphere and Pacific Northwest hop blend. The aromatic profile is dominated by the zesty grapefruit of Riwaka and the lush stone fruit notes of Rakau. Citra adds a bright layer of lime and mango, while Sabro provides a unique tropical complexity with hints of coconut. This beer presents a characteristically opaque, straw-colored appearance topped with a persistent white head. On the palate, the soft, pillowy mouthfeel supports an explosion of passionfruit and apricot, finishing with a restrained bitterness and a clean, fruity aftertaste that emphasizes drinkability and hop saturation.
Appearance. 3-5 SRM. Hazy to opaque straw with an orange glow; should not be murky. Thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring passionfruit and grapefruit from Riwaka, lime from Citra, and distinct apricot notes from Rakau. A subtle tropical coconut hint from Sabro is present. Background malt is low, smelling of neutral grain and light bread.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with mango, peach, and citrus. Low to medium-low bitterness provides a gentle balance without being sharp. Malt flavor is low and bready. The finish is off-dry and incredibly juicy with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notably soft, silky texture. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and approachable with very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
