This Double IPA delivers a rebellious hop profile that belies its deceptive name. At 8.5% ABV, it presents an intense sensory experience driven by an anti-authoritative hop character that dominates the profile. The aroma is a bold explosion of citrus zest, resinous pine, and tropical notes, backed by a clean, minimalist malt backbone. On the palate, aggressive hop flavors provide a tour de force of grapefruit and stone fruit before yielding to a crisp, dry finish. Despite its strength, the beer maintains high drinkability, balancing firm bitterness with a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth that provides a subtle spark for the senses.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-10 SRM). Displays good clarity with a moderate-sized, persistent white head that leaves intricate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, pine resin, and tropical melon. The malt character is low and neutral, providing a grainy background, while the fermentation profile remains clean with only a hint of alcohol warmth.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and complex, showcasing resinous, citrusy, and stone fruit flavors. Bitterness is high and firm but lacks harshness.
