This elegant German Pils captures the essence of classic European brewing with a refined focus on quality ingredients. Built upon a foundation of extra pale pilsner malt, the beer presents a lean, crackery malt base that allows the hops to shine. The addition of Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hops imparts a sophisticated and aromatic profile, characterized by delicate notes of wildflowers, dried herbs, and a subtle spicy undertone. Clean fermentation ensures a transparent canvas, leading to a crisp, dry finish with a persistent but noble bitterness. It is a refreshing and impeccably balanced lager that delivers a high degree of drinkability and traditional character.
Appearance. Brilliant straw color (SRM 2-3) with exceptional clarity. Topped by a dense, creamy white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves fine lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate hop intensity showcasing flowery, spicy, and herbal notes of Hallertauer Mittelfrüh. Supporting these are low notes of grainy-sweet malt and toasted crackers. The fermentation profile is impeccably clean with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. The palate opens with a light, doughy malt sweetness that is rapidly eclipsed by a firm, assertive hop bitterness. Distinctive herbal and floral hop flavors persist throughout.
