Espiga Summer Crush is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that pours a deep garnet red with a thick, smoothie-like appearance. This refreshing sour is defined by a massive addition of raspberries, red currants, and blueberries, creating an intense bouquet of fresh forest fruit and bright lactic acidity. The grist of Barley, Wheat, and Oat malts provides a soft, creamy foundation that cushions the tartness. While Galena hops offer a clean, minimal bitterness, the focus remains on the interplay between the acidic zing and the natural sweetness of the berries. It is a light-bodied, thirst-quenching summer ale with a crisp yet luscious finish.

Appearance. Deep garnet to ruby red (SRM 25+). Opaque with a smoothie-like consistency. Pink-tinted head with moderate retention and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity fruit aroma featuring sharp raspberry, tart red currant, and sweet blueberry. Low bready malt character from wheat and oats. Clean lactic acidity with no detectable hop aroma or yeast-derived esters beyond the fruit.

Taste. High fruit flavor intensity, dominated by juicy raspberry and tart red currant. The acidity is bright but balanced by a subtle residual sweetness. Low bitterness context from minimal Galena hop influence. Malt provides a soft, grainy background. Finish is clean, tart, and very fruity with a lingering berry aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a noticeably creamy, luscious texture from the oat and wheat additions. Moderate to high carbonation. No alcohol warmth. Very low astringency from berry skins.
