Melty Face is a vibrant Hazy IPA that captures a lush tropical landscape through its triple dry-hopping with El Dorado, Citra, Strata, Nelson Sauvin, and Mosaic. This collaboration with Funky Fluid pours a pale yellow with a striking haze, releasing intense aromas of ripe mango, passion fruit, and pineapple. The inclusion of flaked oats and lactose creates an exceptionally silky, velvety texture that carries the citrus and white grape hop notes across the palate. A delicate bready malt backbone provides structure, while the integrated, moderate bitterness ensures the focus remains on the explosive, juicy fruit profile and a smooth, creamy finish.

Appearance. Pale yellow (3–4 SRM) with an opaque, hazy glow. Features a dense, rocky white head with excellent retention and thick, meringue-like lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruits including mango, passion fruit, and pineapple. Secondary notes of citrus peel and a subtle white grape character are present. The malt is clean and bready with a slight sweetness, while the fermentation profile is neutral and supportive.

Taste. Explosive tropical hop flavors of mango and maracuja lead the initial impression, followed by bright pineapple and citrus. The malt flavor is low but provides a soft, grainy sweetness enhanced by lactose. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, lacking any harshness. The finish is smooth and fruit-forward with a lingering juiciness and an off-dry, creamy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably silky, velvety, and creamy texture derived from the heavy use of oats and lactose. Carbonation is moderate and smooth, with no astringency and a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
