This collaborative Double IPA showcases a masterful interplay of Southern Hemisphere and Pacific Northwest hops over a soft foundation of 2row and wheat. Pouring a characteristically hazy yellow, it offers an immediate olfactory burst of sweet tropical fruit and assorted citrus. On the palate, a complex saturation of Citra Lupomax and Galaxy delivers succulent mango chunks and rich orange marmalade. Riwaka and Motueka introduce vibrant lime wedges and a refreshing grassy snap, while Eclipse anchors the experience with earthy, dank pine. Despite its 8.5% strength, the finish remains remarkably smooth, balancing intense hop saturation with a gentle, supportive bitterness and a clean, lingering resonance.

Appearance. Hazy yellow (4-6 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring bright citrus, lime, and mango. Background notes of dank pine and fresh grass are supported by a clean, grainy, and slightly sweet wheat malt profile. Fermentation is clean with very light fruity esters.

Taste. Initial burst of tropical mango and orange marmalade hop flavors. Mid-palate reveals layers of lime zest and earthy resin. Low to moderate grainy malt sweetness from the 2row base provides balance. Bitterness is firm but smooth, leading to a medium-dry finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, creamy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift. A smooth, restrained alcohol warmth is present without any harshness or astringency.
