This Double IPA, a collaboration between Equilibrium and Humble Sea, presents an intense sensory experience driven by a heavy saturation of Citra, Eclipse, and Belma hops. A grist of white wheat and flaked oats creates a soft, foggy foundation for vibrant aromas of mandarin orange and spritzy lemon-lime soda. The palate is dominated by a complex "Five Alive" fruit juice character, weaving together notes of dank passionfruit, fresh grass, and whimsical coconut berry candy. Despite its 8.5% ABV, the beer remains remarkably balanced, pairing a plush mouthfeel with a firm hop charge and refined bitterness that invites repeated sips.

Appearance. Pours a saturated, foggy yellow (SRM 4-5) with high opacity. Topped by a moderate-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing as it recedes.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma with primary notes of mandarin orange, lemon-lime gummies, and tropical passionfruit. Secondary hints of sweet berry and melon are supported by a very low, neutral, grainy malt character. No solventy alcohol; fermentation is clean.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of tropical fruit juice, citrus zest, and lemon-lime soda. High hop bitterness is present but smooth, balancing a soft, wheaty malt profile. Mid-palate reveals dank resins and a hint of coconut-like sweetness before finishing medium-dry with a lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a creamy, smooth texture derived from the oat and wheat additions. Moderate carbonation with a noticeable, well-integrated alcohol warmth that is pleasant and never harsh.
