This Imperial Stout is a decadent, dessert-focused expression that pours a viscous jet black with a dense, creamy tan head. The sensory profile is dominated by layers of biodynamic coconut, utilizing a 50/50 blend of toasted and raw varieties to provide both nutty depth and creamy sweetness. Aromas and flavors evoke Hershey syrup, coconut macaroons, and vanilla frosting from the generous addition of marshmallows. The massive malt base provides a foundation of dark chocolate and roasted grain, leading to a long, decadent finish characterized by rich chocolate and oily coconut slicks. At 11% alcohol by volume, it offers a smooth, integrated warmth that complements its full, velvety body.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). Pours with a thick, creamy, deep tan head that shows moderate retention and leaves viscous legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with dominant notes of sweet milk chocolate, toasted coconut, and vanilla marshmallow. Underlying rich roasted malt provides scents of cocoa and light espresso, with very low earthy hop character and a smooth, clean alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely sweet and dessert-like, featuring flavors of chocolate syrup and coconut macaroons. The 50/50 blend of raw and toasted coconut provides a complex nutty and tropical layer. Malt flavors of bittersweet chocolate and toasted bread support the sweetness. Bitterness is medium-low in perception, serving only to balance the heavy marshmallow and vanilla frosting notes. The finish is long and decadent, leaving a lingering chocolate character and oily coconut slicks on the palate.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied, chewy, and viscous with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, enhancing the richness without being sharp.
