Dream Lab is a high-gravity collaboration Double IPA that merges the soft, juicy character of Equilibrium with Other Half’s assertive hopping techniques. The beer presents an opaque tangerine hue, bursting with an intense aroma of passion fruit, lime, and pineapple driven by heavy additions of Galaxy and Citra hops. On the palate, a bright, creamy tropical core is supported by subtle peach notes and a neutral, grainy malt backbone. Despite its 10.2% ABV, the alcohol remains smooth and well-integrated. A soft, velvety mouthfeel defines the experience, leading to a balanced finish that emphasizes modern hop character without the harsh bitterness often found in high-strength ales.
Appearance. Glowing, opaque tangerine color (6-8 SRM). Features a moderate-sized, persistent white head with good lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma with prominent tropical fruit (passion fruit, pineapple), stone fruit (peach), and sharp citrus (lime). Clean, neutral maltiness in the background with a light fruity fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.
Taste. Strong and complex tropical hop flavors featuring lime and passion fruit. Low to medium supportive, clean malt character. Bitterness is firm but well-rounded and smooth. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering juicy fruitiness and clean, smooth alcohol.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, velvety, and creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but restrained alcohol warmth without any harshness or astringency.
