Appearance. Deep gold to light amber in color (8-12 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of citrus peel, pine resin, and a touch of floral spice. A low, clean, grainy-sweet malt scent provides a supportive base, while the fermentation profile is neutral and free of significant esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean hop bitterness that leads into flavors of grapefruit, orange oil, and resinous pine. The malt presence is low to medium-low, offering a neutral grainy-sweetness with a light toasted edge. Bitterness is firm and lasting into the finish. The aftertaste is dry and hoppy with a clean, lingering bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. There is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth but no harshness or astringency.
