This New Zealand Pilsner presents a vibrant sensory experience defined by the distinctive Riwaka hops. The aroma and flavor profile are dominated by intense tropical notes of passionfruit and white grapefruit, complemented by a subtle grassy undertone characteristic of New World hops. A neutral, bready malt backbone provides a soft, supporting structure without overshadowing the hop-forward balance. Cleanly fermented and incredibly refreshing, it finishes with a smooth, lingering bitterness. The mouthfeel is notably supple, eschewing the sharp crispness of European counterparts for a more rounded, approachable palate that highlights the unique white-wine-like qualities of its Southern Hemisphere ingredients.
Appearance. Yellow-gold (approx. 3-4 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.
