Epic Brewing Company Lager
This American Lager offers a punchy, hop-forward interpretation of a traditional profile. Pouring a brilliant, very pale straw with a frothy white head, it maintains the style's refreshing essence while delivering an unexpected hop-fuelled intensity. The aroma blends low grainy sweetness and light corn notes with a vivid floral and spicy hop character. On the palate, the experience is exceptionally crisp and clean, balancing a neutral malt base with a mild bitterness that elevates the dry finish. High carbonation provides a sharp, thirst-quenching bite, making this a vibrant and modern evolution of the classic American session lager.
Appearance. Very pale straw color (2 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a white, frothy head with moderate retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Low intensity aroma of grainy, sweet malt with a subtle hint of corn. The hop character is moderately low but distinct, presenting clean floral and spicy notes. Fermentation is very clean with no notable esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression is crisp and neutral with a light grainy malt sweetness. Hop flavor is moderately low, emphasizing spicy and herbal qualities. Bitterness is low to medium-low but firm enough to provide balance. The finish is very dry and clean with a short, refreshing aftertaste.
