The presence of Pilsner malt provides a delicate bready, doughy foundation that supports the yeast-driven esters and phenols. Appearance. Pale straw to gold (2–6 SRM). Thick, moussy, long-lasting white head. Distinctive hazy clarity from wheat proteins and yeast.
