This Hazy IPA collaboration presents a vibrant, juice-forward profile defined by a classic trio of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Galaxy hops. It opens with an intense aromatic burst of clementine and zesty citrus, followed by the distinctive green grape notes of the Nelson Sauvin and tropical passion fruit from the Galaxy. A subtle dankness and herbaceous edge add complexity to the primary fruit character. Beneath the hops, a neutral, bready malt base provides a soft, pillowy canvas. The finish is smooth and off-dry, balancing its low bitterness with a lingering impression of tropical sunshine and a clean, fruity aftertaste.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM) with a characteristic opaque haze that provides a soft shine. Topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with high retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrusy clementine and tropical passion fruit. Significant presence of crushed green grapes and a light dank, herbal undertone. Low bready malt in the background; clean fermentation with subtle fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical and citrus fruit. High hop flavors of passion fruit, clementine, and white wine grapes. Low to medium-low bitterness is exceptionally smooth, masking any harshness. Malt is light and bready, supporting the hop-forward profile. Finish is off-dry and clean with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation creates a smooth sensation on the palate. Minimal alcohol warmth; no astringency or raw starchiness.
