Mindless Philosopher is a decadent Imperial Porter that pushes the boundaries of the style with an indulgent, dessert-like profile. Enormous additions of Columbian Cacao create a base of rich, dark chocolate and velvety creaminess, while a massive blend of European and American blueberries provides a lush, jammy fruit character. At 12% ABV, the beer offers a warming embrace that supports its deep, roasted malt backbone. Aromas of cocoa and ripe berries lead into a complex palate where sweet fruit meets dark-roasted malt bitterness. It is a luxurious, full-bodied experience designed for slow savouring, balancing its intense sweetness with a sophisticated, lingering chocolate finish.

Appearance. Deep, opaque ebony with ruby highlights at the edges. Features a dense, creamy, tan head with persistent lacing and moderately good retention.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by rich, dark chocolate and fudge-like Columbian Cacao. Secondary notes of jammy blueberry and dark forest fruits. The malt profile contributes toasted bread, light coffee, and a hint of caramel sweetness. Low earthy hop character; moderate alcohol presence is clean but noticeable.

Taste. Initial impression is sweet and chocolate-forward, followed by succulent, jammy blueberry. The malt provides a strong roasted flavor, reminiscent of bittersweet chocolate and espresso.
